• Pricing for translation projects is determined by several factors including the language species, translation mode, complexity of the subject matter, level of professional complexity, the delivery time, the number of words,etc.Therefore the prices vary with different kinds of documents.
• Language differentiation: Except for English, Russian, Germany , French, Japanese, Korean, others are rare languages which tend to be more costly than the above common languages.
• Translation modes: The charge levels in gradual order: foreign Languages? Chinese < Chinese? foreign languages < foreign languages ? foreign languages.
• Level of difficulty of the text: the charges of text files are lower than picture files,the electronic wersion are less costly than hard both documents.
• Level of professional complexity: the translation of general level will be priced lower than highly technical text. As to highly professional complexity, a surcharge of 20%-30% will be made according to actual condition.
• Delivery time: Load indicated of every translator is based on a speed of 3000-5000 words per working day. A surcharge of 30% on emergency translation should be added.
• An independent manuscript with more characters is priced less costly than manuscript with a few characters.

Remarks:
Translation load statistical methods
1. It will be calculated on the basis of one thousand Chinese characters.
2. The statistical method of Chinese characters: Microsoft Word file “tool” characters statistics ---the number of characters (counting blank out), the statistics of the characters is in accordance with the reading data.
3. The characters of hard copy files are calculated according to “lines” multiply “ column”. Punctuations are regarded as effective volume, for they can help to understand semantic meaning.
4. Chart calculation method: diagrams, illustrations, examples of the layout are calculated according to the full text of standard printing paper.
5. Mutual translations between foreign languages: They are calculated according to Chinese characters. Every Latin word are equivalent two corresponding Chinese characters.
6. Special circumstances: Independent document which are less than 1000 words are calculated according to 1000 words; small pieces of documents (including household registration book, driving licence,ID card, specification, invitation letters,etc within 200 words)are calculated as one copy.

Remarks:
• Clients should make an appointment one or two weeks ahead of time.
• We should arrange for two or more interpreters.
• On business trips to other cities the fees will be increased by 20% on the basis of the original, and the expenses of interpreters including board, lodging, transportion and security should be in charge of by the clients.

Notice for clients:
1. Making an appointment in advance: To ensure the translation with high quality, please make an appointment with us in advance and provide us with the manuscript so that we would have rich time to make arrangemets for your interpretations.
2. Non-disclosure principle: BoShang Translation Company attaches great importance to the confidentiality work and we have special staff to take in charge of the confidentiality of the clients' document. The clients should sign non-disclosure agreement with us if they ask for confidentiality. On the basis of non-disclosure principle, we have right to destroy the manuscript and translation which are not taken back overdue 30 days, regardless of whether the clients have taken back the translation. The destruction of documents have no influence on the payment for all translation fees.
3. Change matters: The clients should offer us smooth and readable document. The translation will be based on the original document which was offerd when signing the mandate. If the clients pose to delete or increase the original document midway, they must inform us timely in written form, so that we can make some arrangements in time. It should be seperately charged for the midway increase of modification in principle and the delivery time should be prolonged correspondingly; if the recommendation deletion has been translated , we won't refund. If the recommendation deletion has not been translated yet, we'll deduct some fees from the translation fees. If the clients pose to terminate the translation, they must inform us in written form. The translation fees are calculated according to the actual translation load which has been finished.
4. Declaration of exemption from the liability: Boshang Translation Company is only responsible for the accuracy of the translation . As for its source, contenst and use, we take no responsibility, but we have right to refuse to translate if the document does harm to the interests of our nation or violates the laws of PRC and the international customs.
